Products: Templemore Eshop
This is a simple e-commerce offering that can be easily integrated into an existing
web site or can form part of a new web site development. It is implemented as a web service,
so the business logic is completely separated from the presentation logic. The products consists
of three main components plus a number of optional plug-in components.
- EshopServer - This is a standalone e-commerce server implemented as a web
service. Communication is via industry standard protocols, including HTTP/XML, SOAP
and RMI/IIOP. The server runs on a Java Enterprise Edition compliant application
server and utilises a relational database for object persistence.
- EshopAdmin - This is a web application for administration of the EshopServer.
It provides a full administration suite that allows users to manage their e-commerce offering.
Functionality includes: product maintenance, order management etc. The product runs
on any Java Servlet and JSP compliant engine and is accessed through a browser interface.
- EshopStore - This is a simple storefront to the EshopServer. The storefront can be
set up quickly and simply and can be integrated straight into an existing web site. EshopStore
also includes a collection of development tools to allow developers to create a more
customised storefront if they so require.
